| Other legislation related to water /river include a law relating to the establishment & regulation of irrigation areas in Malaysia 1953 (1989), an act relating to Drainage works 1954 (1988), Water Supply Enactment, Electricity Act (1949), River Right Enactment of Perak (turtle eggs and fish), Kelantan Rivers Traffic Enactment (1955), Federated Malay States River Launches (Cap 177), Pahang River Launches Enacment 6/49, Sarawak Riverine Transport Bill (1993), National Central Sewerage Bill (1993), Uniform Building By-laws 1976,etc. There are also many enactments and acts formulated/ adopted by individual state to suit his own needs. |
